It's no secret that the retail clinic industry hasn't seen a lot of growth over the last two years, despite many predictions to the contrary. But growth in the retail clinic industry requires new participants to have options when it comes to the retail venue, and without a convincing case that grocery is attractive, those options are limited. If the supermarket industry and its associated pharmacy divisions can make the case that the grocery platform is better because of store traffic, better shopper demographics, and more synergy with healthy eating and weight loss, there could be a new wave of growth with retail clinics.
